 ABOUT ART

Folk painting is not a painting through artistic acts, but a painting that is completed after the owner and the place where it will be used are decided. Rather than using techniques for new creation, it is a painting full of abundant love that is created through the process of drawing overlapping screens over and over again.

The symbolism of folk painting can be broadly divided into the belief in fortune and the belief in exorcism.

The wish that can unite humanity is to receive blessings, live long, and enjoy happiness, which is a common human nature and a belief that transcends doctrine.

The same goes for the spiritual background embedded in folk paintings. Folk paintings are beautiful paintings with wishes for human happiness, drawn one by one. These folk paintings of fortune-telling generally contain two contents. One is to live long and the other is to receive many blessings. On the one hand, fortune-telling is connected to the belief in exorcism, which drives away evil spirits or demons that interfere with fortune-telling. From ancient times, our ancestors believed that all things have yin and yang, and that good and evil inevitably exist in the essence of life. They also believed that the magical power of paintings could protect them from various disasters, and that by hanging pictures of animals with spiritual power in their homes, they could drive away evil spirits.

I have experience as a graphic designer, interior designer, illustrator and artist.

I believe that viewer will be happy just as this painting made me happy with each and every brushstroke, ...

I am still amazed that I am happy even though I work for more than 10 hours a day.
